At 5:45pm, I peed my pants in Michael's as I was shopping for fabric markers and stamps. I thought Wait a minute. I have heard about this. Another gush came about five minutes later. Thankfully I had a feminine product in tow. I finished my shopping as I wasn't about to make a trip to Reserve Street for nothing. No thanks. I don't need a bag, I said. OK! Have a Merry Christmas! She was very excited. So was I.
I called Andy to tell him Paige is engaged and my water just broke. I called Jeanne and Ruth. I need to go into labor within 12 hours or we have to go to the hospital. I really really want to avoid that. We called around and told our people of my possible incontinence and probable labor.
Right now, Andy is at the store getting castor oil, a sandwich and salted, peanut butter filled pretzels. The castor oil is in case labor doesn't start by 3am. Then I willfully ingest this raunchy concoction of the oil, OJ and baking soda. The sandwich and pretzels are for endurance.
I am supposed to hydrate and sleep. Sleep? I'll try.

Oh, God, in Michael's. How perfect.
We are gonna have a new rellytive!
I'm sleeping with the phone and I am thinking of you, all three of you. Have a good one!
Go Ole!! Sending good thoughts to you and the lovely Andy Cline. All of Bug's "village" are awaiting her arrival.
But Jesus wept girl, only you could have her water break, continue shopping and then blog about it!
Love to one and all.
If you're having your baby right now, it means you have to name her "Michael" for the store where you first started to have her.
Come on Bug! It will be any second now! While in bed at 2:23 this morning, I thought of my birth with you Nici. I remember it like yesterday, right down to my water breaking. At 4;30 I finally called the other grandma in-waiting and we talked of this wondrous time. It think we are safe to say that today,
December 18th will be your birthday Bug!
I love you! Gram

Hello all!
Finally!!!! The moment we've all been waiting for: Margot (Bea Holt) Cline arrived at 10:03 AM today, Tuesday, December 18th at the Birth Center with no complications. She weighs 7 lbs. and is 21" long, with a (no surprise here!) head FULL of brown hair and blue eyes. She is latching on and nursing seems to be going well.
. . . Andy said that Nici did an amazing job, and is very proud of her. I'm sure she would say the same of him!
Congratulations, Nici and Andy!!! Welcome, Margot!!!
I'm pretty sure it's Margot Rae Holt Cline.
