This morning, Tori Amos came on NPR. It brought me back to high school and it inspired me to break out the Under the Pink album. Bug and I twirled around the living room to Pretty Good Year and she grunted like a little gremlin. She likes to dance just like her mama.

Oh wow, memories...! I absolutely loved that little video. Margot is definitely going to have some rhythm and the love of dance when she grows up.
You're killing me Nicole. Margot may I have the next dance? XXOOO Joan
That brings back a good memory for me, too. My first dance with Nathan was to a Spyro Gyra song. He was about two weeks old as I recall. That memory hits me right in the middle of my chest.
Gosh, I wish I'd had a video camera.
May you always dance so sweetly together.
if i could have lunch with anyone in the world, tori would take the hot seat, so this video got me all misty eyed! you wanna start a baby and mommy dancing club...?? :)
love,

omg! margot is SO SMALL and looks like a doll when you are holding her. i'm impressed you can still locate your old cds.
Adorable! Bug is quite the dancer. Linden and I were both just discussing how adorable this video is and even though you are dancing to Under the Pink, for reasons neither of us can explain, we seem to be humming Cornflake Girl.
You bet your life!
Your first dancing debut, at about 18 months, was Billy Joel, "My Life". No matter what you were doing, as soon as I put this on, (cassette in those days!), you would get up and become a dancing queen-----and look at you now!!!
xo, Mom
'memeber when we saw tori at chastain? fun.
i am still obsessed with her, fyi so i particuarlly liked this lil' post. go get her new album (american doll posse a lot of anti-george themes in) and shake some more legs for me. :), lisa
margot bea is so stinking cute.
I can't get over how small she is! What's she up to now, like 8 pounds. Thank you, as always, for making those of us too far away, feel such an intimate part of this. I love you both.
Absolutely fabulous! That brought back my childhood memories.... music/dancing...esp. with my dad and siblings. It brings such joy and happiness. Margot, you have the best mom! Nici, your creativity never ceases to amaze me and now this video. Can't wait for the next one!
Love,
Zamma
